Eske Rex - The Drawing Machine (2009)
Artist’s explanation:
“Two pendulums suspended in a tower structure; the focal point is a pen that rests level with the mounted paper. The two pendulums are started by hand, and their movements are plotted on the paper.
The Drawing Machine serves two main purposes: as as exhibition object the movements of which affects the entire space and as a working tool which with which to study the relationship between time and motion.”
